Part of being an eco-resort is to try to help pass on an important message about the environment. Melina Beach Resort is proud to be the Tioman education centre of Ecofieldtrips. Ecofieldtrips has been bringing school groups on conservation fieldtrips to Tioman Island for over a decade. Their aim is to inculcate positive attitudes about nature and to raise awareness of environmental problems that we can all help to resolve. Their biologists are often on hand to offer guided snorkeling trips or forest walks to our guests.
